In Tycho Brahe planetarium you can see the permanent exhibition called „The Active Univers“ where you'll find the answers to some of the mysteries of space. In addition, digital 3D movies and IMAX films are presented during the day. IMAX is the largest film format in the world. You will see nature's magnificence, whether the shows take you below the surface of the sea, out in space or into the jungle. The films are shown on 1000 m2 dome-shaped screen which gives you the impression of being part of the on-screen action. All shows are narrated in Danish. Headphones for English narration are available at the ticketsale for DKK 20.

It was built at the beginning of 17 century as a royal residence for Danish King Christian IV and since 1878 it is the Museum of National history. Here you encounter people and events that have shaped Danish history from the Middle Ages to the 21st century. Located on the island of Holmen, opposite the castle Amalienborg at the shore of the harbour, the ultra-modern glass Opera House was built in 2001-2004 and it is one of the most modern and expensive opera houses in the world (the construction cost over 500 million USD). There are between 1490 and 1700 seats depending of the stage setup and size of orchestra. The orchestra pit provides room for 110 musicians from The Royal Danish Orchestra - and the opera building offers an outstanding acoustic sound excellence and experience for the entire audience. The new Opera House is a unique arts venue for opera lovers.

Torvehallerne is a great and not too crowded market for food lovers. You will find there over 60 stands selling everything from fresh fish and meat to gourmet chocolate and exotic spices, as well as small places where you can have a quick bite to eat. As with a lot of places in Copenhagen it is not cheap but the range of products is on a high quality. Open daily 10:00-19:00 (on Friday to 20:00) and at weekends 10:00-18:00 (on Sunday to 17:00).
