While strolling through Copenhagen you will certainly come across the Nyhavn harbor from the 18th century, which has been a pedestrian zone already for 40 years. Here you can admire beautiful old sailing ships, such as the smuggling boat called Mari or a schooner Miru from the19th century. In one of the port´s colourful houses no. 20, used to live Hans Christian Andersen - one of the most famous Danes, the author of unforgettable fairy tales. He was a hypochondriac and reportedly an unbearable man, but his work has enriched the lives of milions children and adults alike.
