Only the Berlin ZOO, which is the largest ZOO in Germany and one of the oldest in the world (fouded 1844), can boast by breeding Giant Pandas in the country and nearly 1500 species of animals. In a modern pavilion with hippos you can watch the game through underwater 14 meters long glass panel. In the evening you can explore the life of nocturnal animals. If you love the underwater world, go to the Sea-Life. The space is divided into several halls - a lagoon with stingrays, which is one of the largest cylindrical aquarium in the world, the exposition without glass, where you can touch to the water and finger the organisms on the rocks, the exhibition of seahorses and much more. The open hours: daily 9:00-19:00.
