A modern black building in Zurich’s former industrial district, now an art and design hub, it is one of two properties in Zurich belonging to the German boutique hotel chain. The interior is a kaleidoscope of cheerful colours and it’s crammed with greenery and arty red-tube light installations. There is a panoramic sauna, small gym, and a boutique selling hotel-branded merchandise. The 126 air-conditioned rooms have wood floors, pendulum lights, rich colours and artwork. Restaurant Neni, the hotel’s dining concept, is a pulsing space with a live DJ.
