One of the most famous historic beer halls, located in the heart of Munich's old town, just a few steps from the central square Marienplatz. Established in 1589 as the Royal Brewery of the Kingdom of Bavaria, the Hofbräuhaus, just like Oktoberfest, is an essential part of Munich's history, culture and cuisine. It is a great place to get a true taste of Munich: Listen to Oompah Bands that play it up every day, watch traditionally dressed waiters juggle 10 huge beers at once, and enjoy the fun and bustling atmosphere.
