Dadaisms - a movement best described as a mix of art and the absurd, was born right at the Cabaret Voltaire in 1916. With the reopening of the Cabaret in 2004, the „Dadahaus“ with its special atmosphere is situated in two floors with two different entrances. The nice caffeteria is on the top floor. The cabaret with evening performances is located down. There is also an exhibition room with painted ceiling where you can learn about the Dadaism and Dada Museum which offers awesome books in store.
