The name "Szwejk" comes from a Czech novel "The Good Soldier Švejk" written by Jaromir Hasek. It is a popular and quite noisy pub offering traditional, rather heavy cuisine. Beer is excellent and served in big jars, all portions of food are extremely huge. You can sit also outside but inside it is cosier. There are many small rooms and corridors with tables next to windows or nicely decorated walls. Prices are very moderate. It is great value for money.
