Built in an impressive neo-Renaissance style on the Vltava bank between 1868-83, the National Theatre is one of the symbols of Czech national identity and cultural heritage, striving for the highest artistic quality. The theatre offers a fine repertoire of opera, ballet, Czech drama and advent concerts. On this website you can buy tickets on-line to the National Theatre and also to the National Opera, Laterna Magica and The Estates Theatre. If you´d like to see just an interior of the National theatre, which is really stunning, you can join the guided tours. Tours are given in English, German, French, Russian and Czech.
