In recent years The Stag´s Head has become a tourist magnet, as well as a haunt for students from nearby Trinity College. The atmosphere is as good as it ever was; the existing pub dates back to 1895. It mantains all its Victorian décor, with fine wood panelling, stained-glass windows – and an actual Stag's Head suspended on a wall above the mahogany-and-walnut bar.
