Statholdergaarden is located downtown, in a building which dates back to 17th century and was built for Peter Gruner, Master of the Mint. The restaurant includes 5 rooms of different sizes. The biggest is the Cleopatra Room, the ceiling which is decorated with Northern Europe's most impressive plasterwork. The restaurant has two stars in the Michelin Guide. It has a calm atmosphere, very friendly and informative staff and excellent food.
