Cathedral of St. Bartholomew

Dating from 1260, Saint Bartholomew's Gothic Cathedral ((Kaiserdom Sankt Bartholomäus) is one of the symbols of the city as ten emperors were crowned here between 1532 and 1792. The damage caused to the building by bombing raids during the World War II was quickly repaired. The tower, which stands at 310 feet, offers a magnificent view over the surrounding areas. It is located in the centre of city.
