The Gallerie d’italia-Piazza Scala is jewel which isn´t very known yet. It is housed in two historic buildings overlooking Milan’s elegant via Manzoni and host masterpieces of 19th century. There is an incredible collection of Canova's plasters, 19th century paintings depicting mainly lombardy and lakes, 20th century paintings and istallations. Beautiful gardens, restaurant, bar, book shop and the ticket is (for the time being) free of charge.
