This fun restaurant and bar near Old Town square has several salons. Each represents a different aspect of Argentina. One is a nautical tavern with lanterns and swinging chairs. Another is a cool, Buenos Aires piano bar. While another is the Parana River at the Iguazu Falls. One room even has a parrot, an iguana and tropical fish. The mainstay of the menu is delicious grilled meats, cooked over a fire or on a charcoal grill, with chimichurri sauce.

I did have the fortune to dine in this restaurant about one month ago. Until then I went to Ambiente ( Celetna Street ) for steak and never was let down. However during my last visit to Prague I followed the recomendantion of my czech lady companion and paid visit to La Casa Argentina. Thanks God I did listen. Top of the line establishment with fantastic menu ( as far as steaks are concerned ) and SUPER wine list. So if any of you are in Prague and feel like good steak , this is the place to have one

I definitely recommend this restaurant. The interior, consisting from a bar and several rooms in the ground floor and first floor, is fantastic! Each room has a different design. If you are bored by your partner at a table you can watch big lizzards, fish in aquarium or small monkies (it depends in which room do you sit) :-). I don´t eat beef but my friend had a steak and said that it was one of the best in Prague. Capoeira dancers from Brazil and live music only enhances the beautiful atmosphere. Just be ready that this place is noisy so not good for romantic sessions. It is a place for fun with friends.
