Located about 40 km to the North-East of Rome at Vigna di Valle, on the southern side of the Bracciano lake, the Italian Air Force Museum (Museo Storico dell' Aeronautica Militare) offers visitors an excellent, unique collection of Italian aircraft from the early days of flying until today. There are many very rare Italian built aircrafts displayed at the museum.
