Underwater pub
Dalsbergstien 4, 0170 Oslo, Norway
Underwater is a charming two-story pub with aquarium-style interior and raftered ceilings. The pub is known as the "second home" to detective Harry Hole in Jo Nesbø's popular crime novels. The mezzanine has small tables and a bar from the 1880s. Downstairs there is a fireplace and a chess/backgammon table. Underwater offers many beers on tap and has a big selection of wines and non-alcoholic options. The pub does not serve food, but you can order takeaway from three neighbourhood restaurants or bring your own food. Opera nights every Tuesday and Thursday with performances by professional opera singers.
