I always wanted to visit Southern Bohemia and the oportunity presented itself with Martin Tours. I did book all day trip to Cesky Krumlov. Little remote ( almost 3 hour on the bus to get there ) but as we say "worth every penny". Medival town that straddles the Vltava river with beautifull castle. If you can get in, the tour of the castle is a must. Once done , walk down to the town itself. Small romantic streets with many good restaurants. We did walk around for about 2 hours and had leisury late lunch in one of the restaurants at the main square. Typically czech food , perhaps not healthy but very tasty. Perhaps the only drawback of the tour was limited english of our tour guide , but she was nevertheless very enthusiastic. All in all , do it if you have full day to spare

I went with Martin tour twice for a one day trip - once to see the castle Cesky Sternberk and for the second time to the lovely town Kutna hora, where is situated the fascinating cathedral St. Barbora. Generally both places were wonderful and the guide was very professional, friendly and spoke fluently by several languages - English, German and Italian... The microbus was very comfortable, we were about 14 foreigners from different countries. Fantastic! Highly recommended!
