Situated in the Hofbräuhaus/Hard Rock Café block (downtown in Marienplatz), this small music club is quite special. There are live concerts almost every night, and when not live, there are very cool DJs. The lights and leather sofas, when combined with a disco ball, lava lamp, and an occasional Afro haircut, give Atomic Cafe a very 70´s touch. The crowd of visitors is consisting from 18 to 45 years old people.

Located near the Nymphenburg district, Backstage is known for its many concerts but also for the regular parties. The bands play here cross all genres - from Punk to Reggae to Electro. There are a couple of bands that play each week, and parties normally have a certain music theme to them depending on the night. Drink prices are cheaper than is usual in Munich and the service is fast. In summer there is also an excellent beer garden here.

Formerly one of the most famous gay clubs in Germany that welcomed gays and straight icons like Freddie Mercury, David Bowie, and Mick Jagger. After several changes of name and ownership, the club finally settled on Paradiso Tanzbar Bar in 2008. Opulent chandeliers, outsized mirrors and plush red carpeting make for an elite yet relaxed clubbing experience. The highlight here are the Burlesque Shows inspired by Dita von Teese which sees erotic dancers complete with corsets, bodices and nipple tassels take to the stage and push the temperature through the roof!
